CLIENT SUCCESS STORY: Joe D. | BodyGnosis | Massage Therapy

What did you initially come in seeking help with? Please describe in some detail what injury or pain that prompted you to come in.

I initially came to Tom for help with lower back pain. I had a herniated disk with sciatic nerve damage in my left leg that was causing my left foot to be numb most of the time.

How would you describe the sessions you had? What was the experience like for you?

The sessions with Tom were very helpful in the healing process. I regained flexibility and feeling in my foot.

How would you compare this work with some other sessions you have had in either massage or other modalities i.e. acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy etc.?

Prior to working with Tom I had undergone physical therapy with limited success. I was considering back surgery. My personal trainer recommended aggressive massage therapy as a best option for me over surgery and I agreed to give it a try.

What benefits would you say you received from our sessions? Would you say it was effective if so what specific issues were improved?

As a result of working with Tom I have regained my flexibility and strength. The numbness in my foot is mostly gone. I have been able to return to my active lifestyle and am no longer in any pain.
